ST. LOUIS (May 22, 2006) – Advanced ICU Care, a medical services company providing high-quality, remote critical care, announced today that it has named Pamela Goe as Regional Sales Director – Western Region and Glenn Morrison as Regional Sales Director – Central Region.
Goe and Morrison will head sales and business development activities for the company in the western and central United States, respectively, working to deliver Advanced ICU Care’s critical care medicine services to hospital ICUs. Using sophisticated communications technology, Advanced ICU Care connects critical care medicine physicians (intensivists) to patients in intensive care units.
“Pam and Glenn will be instrumental in helping us continue to bring this enhanced level of care to ICU patients across the western and central U.S,” said Scott Turner, MBA, vice president of Advanced ICU Care. “They both have achieved significant sales growth in their respective industries, and have tremendous sales executive and sales management experience in early-stage companies.”
Goe has more than 20 years of progressive sales and management experience serving clients across a number of markets largely focusing on healthcare and healthcare technology. Most recently, she was western regional manager for Tensys, Inc., a blood monitor technology provider. Before that, Goe was a senior monitoring consultant, sales trainer and sales representative for Welch Allyn Monitoring, which designs, manufactures and markets flexible patient monitoring systems. She has led sales organizations focusing on capital equipment, medical devices, professional services and software sales.
Also bringing more than 20 years of sales and management experience, Morrison has served clients in the technology solutions markets, and has led sales organizations focusing on capital equipment, professional services and software sales. Most recently, he was regional sales director for DST Output Services, a data processing and print/mail outsourcing firm. Prior to that, he was regional sales director for Bowe Bell+Howell Company, with responsibility for six sales professionals in the central region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University.
Advanced ICU Care is currently providing remote critical care to ICU patients at St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri and Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston, Wisconsin. With a nationwide shortage of intensivists – currently only one in every five hospitals has intensivists on staff – Advanced ICU Care expects to expand its services to community hospitals across the nation.
