eCareMobile™

Advanced ICU Care also offers mobile carts through VISICU's technology. The mobile cart solution, the eCareMobile unit, is a movable version of a virtual ICU workstation. Mobile carts allow intensivist support outside of the ICU. According to VISICU, it enables a health system with virtual ICU capabilities to temporarily transform any bedside with network connectivity into a critical care location. The cart incorporates remote care tools as well as a laptop computer to access the eCare Manager software. In an emergency room, for example, these carts allow for intensivist support when a patient is first brought into the hospital, ensuring stronger continuity of care.
