ST. LOUIS (October 10, 2006) – Advanced ICU Care, a company connecting critical care physicians and nurses to hospital ICU patients using telemedicine technology, today announced that it has added Timothy M. Mayleben to its board of directors.

“Tim’s appointment as an independent member of our board further adds to the broad expertise of our directors and helps sharpen our strategic focus. He brings a unique insight, having led the finance and operating activities for several successful technology and healthcare companies,” said Mary Jo Gorman, M.D., chief executive officer for Advanced ICU Care.  “His leadership and clear focus on growth will be a valuable asset as we continue to build our business and deliver our eICU® program to critically ill patients across the country.”

With this addition, Advanced ICU Care now has five board members including Mary Jo Gorman, M.D.; David Schopp, Advanced ICU Care president and COO; Tim Peterson, managing partner of Arboretum Ventures; and Bruce Quade, managing director at Catalyst Capital Management.
