eICU^® Technology

The telemedicine technology employed by Advanced ICU Care is licensed from Philips VISICU to help address the intensivist shortage and improve patient care and safety in the ICU. Tele-ICU technology combines clinical management software with patient data and real-time video feeds, enabling care and monitoring of critically ill patients. The main components of the tele-ICU technology consist of critical pieces of in-room equipment. These telemedicine care tools, such as cameras and videoconferencing, allow Advanced ICU Care physicians and nurses to see and communicate directly with patients, families and onsite clinicians.

eLert™ Button
The eLert button allows patients, families and onsite clinicians to call the Monitoring Center.

Two-Way Video
The two-way video capability enables onsite clinicians, patients and families to converse with Advanced ICU Care's intensivists and/or critical care nursing staff.
