eICU^® Technology

The telemedicine technology employed by Advanced ICU Care is licensed from VISICU to help address the intensivist shortage and improve patient care and safety in the ICU. Virtual ICU technology combines clinical management software with patient data and real-time video feeds, enabling remote care and monitoring of critically ill patients. The main components of the virtual ICU technology consist of critical pieces of in-room equipment. These remote care tools, such as cameras and videoconferencing, allow Advanced ICU Care physicians and nurses to see and communicate directly with patients, families and onsite clinicians.

The eLert button allows patients, families and onsite clinicians to call the remote Monitoring Center

Two-Way Video
The two-way video capability enables onsite clinicians, patients and families to converse with Advanced ICU Care's intensivists and/or critical care nursing staff.
