In addition to improved clinical outcomes, Advanced ICU Care clinical team supports the on-site critical care staff of our hospital partners. Advanced ICU Care clinical team members do not replace the on-site team, but rather act as additional team members, providing 24/7 support to optimize patient care and efficiency.

Nurse support: Immediate access to intensivists day and night, as well as the support of experienced critical care nurses, has led to high nurse satisfaction and retention. Our staff also provides mentoring for less experienced nurses, as well as ongoing guidance and education. At St. Mary's Health Center, ICU nurse turnover decreased by 67 percent after just one year of using the Advanced ICU Care program.

Physician support: Having experienced, board certified intensivist support 24/7 can help relieve strain on local practicing physicians. Demands in the ICU are often taxing for local attending physicians, and our program can help alleviate some of the disruptive calls, day and night, attending physicians regularly receive regarding care for their patients. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and our program can help hospitals offer improved scheduling to physicians.
