Bedside Critical Care Services

Our program starts with experienced intensivist-led care, regardless of the delivery method. For hospitals, we provide an ICU patient management and on-site intensivist program through an affiliate company, Advanced ICU Care Medical Group. Our board certified and fellowship trained intensivists work at the bedside, working in collaboration with hospital physicians, nurses and other staff in caring for patients. In addition, they help to standardize and establish evidence-based best care practices - improving patient outcomes and providing ICU efficiencies. Through daily multidisciplinary rounds, our intensivists at the bedside help to embed care practices and drive continuous quality improvement.

Advanced ICU Care's bedside critical care and ICU management program delivers real clinical and financial results for our hospital partners, including:

• Reduction in ICU patient days of 28 percent
• Reduction in hospital length of stay for ICU patients of 8 percent
• Reduction in diversion time of 90 percent

In addition, through bedside intensivist support, best care standards are implemented into protocols. For instance, together with one hospital, SSM DePaul Health Center, we implemented a ventilator weaning protocol, reducing 4.5 ventilator days per patient.
