St. Louis, MO (May 21, 2007) – Advanced ICU Care, a medical service company providing high-quality, remote critical care, announced today that it has named Chris Yancey as Regional Sales Vice President – Southeast.  Using sophisticated telemedicine technology, Advanced ICU Care delivers board-certified critical care medicine physicians (intensivists) and nurses to patients in hospital intensive care units.

In this newly created role, Yancey joins Advanced ICU Care’s nationwide sales team in delivering the company’s critical care medicine services to hospital ICUs across the country.  Based in Atlanta, Yancey will lead all sales-related initiatives and business development activities for the company in the southeastern United States.

“With his demonstrated leadership skills and significant sales and sales management experience, Chris will be a valued asset to our team, helping us continue to bring intensivists and critical care nurses to hospital ICU patients who otherwise wouldn’t have access to this life-saving level of care,” said Scott Turner, MBA, vice president of sales and marketing for Advanced ICU Care.  “Chris has spent his career in the southeast, having delivered creative technology and service solutions to a wide variety of clients across a range of industries, and we look forward to his leadership as we build our presence in this region.”

Yancey has more than 20 years of sales and management experience and has achieved significant sales growth throughout his career. Most recently, he was senior sales executive for DST Output, a company delivering integrated communications solutions to companies in the healthcare, financial services, insurance and other industries. Before that, Yancey spent 15 years with Bowe Bell + Howell, a provider of document processing and mailing software solutions, serving most recently as executive director for the southern region. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.

Advanced ICU Care is currently providing remote critical care to ICU patients at hospitals in Indiana, Missouri and Wisconsin.  With a nationwide shortage of intensivists – currently only one in every five hospitals has intensivists on staff – Advanced ICU Care expects to expand its services to community hospitals across the nation.
