Advanced ICU Care Appoints Toby Thomas as Board Member

ST. LOUIS (December 11, 2008) - Advanced ICU Care®, a company connecting intensivists and critical care nurses to hospital ICU patients using telemedicine technology, today announced that it has added Toby Thomas to its board of directors.

With nearly 20 years financial and operational experience in the healthcare and technology sectors, Mr. Thomas currently serves as chief executive officer of Autism Spectrum Therapies, a provider of comprehensive services for individuals with autism. Previously, Mr. Thomas was chief financial officer for Cogent Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of inpatient management services with operations in 17 states. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president, finance for Vivra Specialty Partners, a private healthcare company. Mr. Thomas began his career at Ernst & Young, and from there moved on to finance and business planning roles at AST Research, Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a Certified Public Accountant.
