Advanced ICU Care Taps Toby Thomas as New President

ST. LOUIS, MO (Nov. 11, 2010) - Advanced ICU Care®, a company connecting intensivists and critical care nurses to hospital ICU patients using telemedicine technology, has named Toby Thomas its new president.

In his new role, Thomas, who has been serving on Advanced ICU Care's board of directors for the past two years, will be responsible for sales and marketing, finance and human resources, in addition to overall strategic direction and operations support.

With nearly 20 years financial and operational experience in the healthcare and technology sectors, Thomas previously served as chief executive officer of Autism Spectrum Therapies, a provider of comprehensive services for individuals with autism. Before his work at Autism Spectrum Therapies, Thomas was chief financial officer for Cogent Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of inpatient management services with operations in 17 states. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, magna cum laud and is a Certified Public Accountant.

In his new role as president, Thomas will take over some of the duties of retiring President and COO David Schopp, a co-founder of Advanced ICU Care with 30 years of experience in the healthcare field.
