Advanced ICU Care hires Associate Director of Operations

ST. LOUIS (October 17, 2008) - Advanced ICU Care, a medical services company delivering board-certified intensivists and nurses to hospital ICU patients using telemedicine technology, announced today that Sandi Aubuchon, RN, BSN, has joined the company as Associate Director of Operations.

In this role, Aubuchon will oversee the company's nursing and health care associate staff, who care for and remotely monitor hospital ICU patients across the country from Advanced ICU Care's eICU® Monitoring Center in St. Louis. She will also support the clinical program implementation at new hospitals and help manage customer service operations across Advanced ICU Care's client hospitals.

"Sandi brings a tremendous amount of management, critical care nursing and customer service experience to this role," said Gary Anderson, MHA, RN, FACHE, director of operations at Advanced ICU Care. "Her background in critical care and experience working with cutting-edge technology, along with a clear focus on quality and best practices, will help us continue to deliver the best possible care and safety for ICU patients."

Previously, Aubuchon held leadership and clinical research positions at Stereotaxis, Inc., a St. Louis company providing magnetic navigation technology to hospitals. Before joining Stereotaxis, Aubuchon spent 10 years in cardiology research, having developed and led cardiology clinical research organizations for both St. Louis University School of Medicine and Washington University School of Medicine. Aubuchon has nearly 20 years nursing experience in intensive care and cardiac rehabilitation as a manager, clinical specialist and staff nurse. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Louis University and is a registered nurse in Missouri.
