Advanced ICU Care appoints Doug Webb, CPA, as chief financial officer

ST. LOUIS (May 13, 2009) - Advanced ICU Care^®, a medical services company connecting intensivists and critical care nurses to hospital ICU patients using telemedicine technology, today announced that it has appointed Doug Webb as chief financial officer. In this role, Webb will develop financial strategy, planning and forecasts for Advanced ICU Care.

With more than 30 years of professional experience across multiple niche industries, including insurance, healthcare and telecommunications, Webb was previously chief financial officer and SVP of finance and information technology for PICA Group, a professional liability insurer. Before joining PICA, Webb served as SVP of finance and administration with Lightyear Communications. Other career highlights include CFO and vice president of finance and information technology at Res-Care, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting.
