St. Louis, MO (April 28, 2010) - Today, Advanced ICU Care announced another new addition to the staff, bringing the total for the year to 18 new hires. Monica Lightman joins Advanced ICU Care as the company continues to see growth and new opportunities in its business pipeline. Advanced ICU Care is dedicated to delivering experienced critical care physicians (intensivists) through telemedicine and bedside care.
Lightman, a new vice president of regional sales, brings with her extensive sales experience in the healthcare IT, software, and product fields. She comes to Advanced ICU Care with more than 15 years of executive sales experience, most recently at Peminic Inc., a quality and patient safety software company. In her new role at Advanced ICU Care, Lightman will oversee sales and new business opportunities in the Northeast region.

Ms. Lightman holds a bachelor of arts degree from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and has worked for organizations including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She was also the president and owner of Basically Brilliant, Inc. from 1995 to 2000, where she handled product invention, marketing and licensing.
